Family & Friends,
Another
round of transfers are coming up and I am staying again in Stockport. I will be
getting another companion due to elder Atkinson going home. He has served well
and fought he good fight.
I
am going to be with a missionary named Elder Anderson who goes home after this
next transfer! I honestly didn’t think that I was going to be serving with
another missionary that is going home, yet I am so blessed to be with such
amazing missionaries. I thank you and the Lord for being with Elder Ellis,
Elder Atkinson, and now Elder Andersen. We will work harder than ever, each
transfer gets stronger and stronger, working harder and harder till there is
nothing left. I am willing to give Heavenly Father my all for he has given me
everything I have and hold most dear to my heart.
We
are working wit a lot of good people! We are seeing a more humbled people since
the attack in Manchester. They have had moments of silence and loads of
questions have been asked about if God existed then why would he allow these
things to happen. Good thing we have the Plan of Salvation, which answers all
the questions pertaining to life.
As
president was with elder Atkinson in his departing interview, I spoke with
sister Ulrich about the mission. She asked me about the question of what has
changed most in the time I have spent in the mission. I paused and waited for
the spirit to help me answer then I responded by explaining my view and
testimony on the Atonement and the role of Jesus Christ. I am grateful for his
sacrifice. No matter what we do, if being sincere we can be forgiven and be
accepted into Heavenly Fathers Kingdom. I know that God lives and that Christ
lives. I know that we are children of a Loving Eternal Father. I know that by
following his leaders, we cannot and will not go astray. In the name of Jesus
Christ, Amen.
Love,
Elder
Nichols
