In Two days it is Transfers Day… Im Staying in Wigan!

Bonjour Family and Friends!

I first off want to say that I love you all and pray for each and every one. Christmas is coming up faster than ever and I cannot wait! This is the time to spread the Christmas cheer and the stories of Christ! It amazes me, over in England, when I ask people "What is the whole purpose of Christmas, how did it come to be" and hardly anyone knows that the answer is in the name! CHRISTmas, and it is so sad when we see X-mas cause it takes away the purpose of Christmas. I hope each and everyone of you who are reading this email can take the challenge of talking with at least one person about Christmas and inviting them to an activity (I know Fruit Heights and Kaysville are hard, but all the more fun!).

In two days it is Transfers and I am... Staying in Wigan for another month and a half, at the least. My companion (Elder Domiciano) has been called to serve the people in Rochdale in the Ashton Zone! My new companion will be Elder Taite, I think. I will see him on Wednesday!

During a meeting and during my personal study I came across a scripture 1 John 4:18 about Fear and Love. It is interesting because as we go throughout each day do we have fear to do things or can we build the strength and courage to face those things that are in our path? An apostle once said, "Come what may and love it" I absolutely love that phrase and it is something we can apply each and every moment in every day! Love everything and that love you express will come back to you and joy will take over your life! I think it to be very curious that Fear is of the devil and Love is of God. This is why all the villains in all movies never win in the long run cause they use fear instead of love! Here on my mission I have had so many chances where I can love what I am doing, I can love whom I am working with, and I can love where I am. Sometimes I don’t use love, because I am fearful of how others may take it or how things may just suddenly collapse. I hope that everyone who reads my email can use every ounce of love they have and make the world a more loving place to live. This is the greatest time of year; let us all share what we have!

Mom and Family: I absolutely love my new coat and my new scarf as well as a new brolly! I will try to write letters to all of you individually but they may not arrive very fast. Darn England, oh well. I love you all so much and wish I could be around for Christmas! Remember this time that we celebrate Christ and set the example, be the example.

With Great Love,

Elder Scott Nichols
