Uplifting Week

7/31/2017
Dear Family & Friends,

Yesterday we had a very powerful Sacrament meeting and it once again
re-confirmed my testimony in the Prophet Joseph Smith. The Spirit
filled the room as we listened to four wonderful talks with regards to
the Restoration of the Gospel. There was one speaker that had very
little eloquence in their talk, but the testimony of that individual
was true. The bishop of the Stockport ward was where it hit me though,
he gripped the pulpit and testified with tears in his eyes and a peace
in his voice. He bore powerful witness that Heavenly Father and Jesus
Christ appeared to a 14 yr old boy. His testimony brought solemn
satisfaction and it pierced my heart to the very core, I knew that God
lives and Christ lives and that Joseph Smith is the prophet of the
Restoration.

This week has been very uplifting, we are in process of a musical
performed and produced by the church and it's called the British
Pageant. It will be a remarkable event with over 300 actors and we are
bringing as many investigators as possible. It will touch the hearts
of many who come and watch! It is amazing, and this is the best way to
end the mission! I have been blessed by the Lord with so many great
events and opportunities and I could never deny the testimony in which
I have been given, I know the gospel is true and that came through the
Gift and Power of the Holy Ghost. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Mom & Fam: I honestly cannot believe that I have less days than a new
missionary has months... 23 months under the raps and I just wish to
express all my love and joy o have for all of you! I loved your story
dad about getting bucked off your bike one more time, it made my day
very light and happy. Mom, you are a super-mom and I will forever be
grateful for your influence in my life. My brothers and sister, you
all are the greatest closest friends I have ever had, have, and will
yet to have. Spencer, keep going, work your heart out and Hope is an
abiding trust in the lord that he will pour his blessings upon you in
his own time so keep being faithful to the end, knocking doors
actually does work (Believe me, great success has come from it here in
England). I love you all and miss you all! Keep working hard and doing
your best.

Love,
Elder Nichols
